Bettendorf Community School District is seeking a Summer Groundskeeper to assist with maintaining district grounds during the summer months. This position plays an important role in keeping school properties safe, clean, and well maintained while supporting summer maintenance and preparation for the upcoming school year.

Terms of Employment:
Seasonal Position June through August 2026
Varied Schedule

Salary:
$15.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must be able to provide required I-9 documentation to verify eligibility to work in the United States.

Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently in the absence of specific instruction and/or continuous supervision
• Assist with general grounds maintenance across district facilities
• Help maintain safe and presentable outdoor environments for students, staff, and community use
• Perform duties as outlined in the complete job description
