Are you a current college student majoring in Human Resources? If so, Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is looking to hire a summer HR intern for their executive office building in Lake Forest, IL. This opportunity will provide some practical HR responsibilities and a glimpse into the variety of operations within our Corporate HR Department.


Responsibilities include:

  • Your primary role will be to support the Executive Director of Corporate HR by assisting with a variety of assignments and projects.
  • You will also interact with other Corporate HR staff members in recruiting, learning and development, and compliance.

Educational Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must be a currently enrolled college student majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other applicable major and have completed their sophomore year.
  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0/ 4.0 is required and you must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.


Abilities/Skills:

  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and enjoy a systematic approach to problem solving.
  • Candidate must display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
