SUMMER INTERNSHIP - CITY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE

JOB
This is a paid summer internship program to provide exposure to law-related fields and careers, such as criminal prosecutor, Law Enforcement Officer, Lab Technicians, and Dispatch Operators. The approximate dates of the internship program are July 1 to August 6, 2026. Applicants will participate in a mentoring and educational program while developing responsibility and experience. The City Prosecutor's Office, in partnership with Pacific Gateway will provide a paid internship. Hourly amount is estimated to be $16.90/hr depending on grant funding. Duties may include the following: Participating in legal seminarsParticipation in legal assignments involving researching and writingTouring various Long Beach agencies involved in the criminal justice processParticipating in group exercises and projectsOther duties as assigned
