About Us

Cherie Brown Therapy, Inc. is a trauma-informed, relationship-focused private practice providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups. We are seeking a motivated Psychotherapy Intern to join our team under clinical supervision. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in a supportive environment while building foundational skills in client care, documentation, and professional development.

We are looking for self-directed, motivated individuals who truly value growth, learning, and continued professional development. Our team is committed to providing a supportive environment where interns can build confidence, expand their skills, and feel guided as they step into clinical work. To create a meaningful experience, interns are asked to commit to one year (covering three practicum/internship classes). This consistency allows interns to form deeper connections with clients and gain the full benefit of supervision and mentorship.

Evening hours and Saturdays are especially encouraged, as they provide the best opportunities to work with couples and families, though we will do our best to create a schedule that accommodates a mix of daytime and evening/weekend availability. Interns will carry a minimum caseload of 12–15 clients, which offers a balanced opportunity to work with a variety of clients while still feeling supported as part of a collaborative and nurturing team.
