SUMMER Part Time Child Care Assistant/Floater

We are looking for a part time child care assistant for the summer (job starts in May). Great opportunity for recent grads or students on college summer break! Hours are in the afternoons...we close at 6pm so no late evenings! Must have a high school diploma and pass a background check.

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. This role involves caring for children of various ages while supporting their developmental needs and ensuring their well-being.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and positive manner.
• Assist with behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions among children.
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity among children and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in daycare, caregiving, babysitting, or similar roles is highly desirable.
• Ability to create engaging classroom activities that cater to different age groups.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and other staff members.
• A genuine love for children and a commitment to their safety and development.
