Duties

  • Develop, plan, and oversee summer programs aligned with institutional goals, ensuring engaging curriculum development and innovative activities.
  • Coordinate with Local vendors, external partners, and community organizations to facilitate smooth program operations.
  • Conduct research on best practices in summer programming and incorporate evidence-based strategies into program design.
  • Provide academic advising and support to participating students, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages growth.
  • Write grant proposals to secure funding for future programs and demonstrate the impact of current initiatives through detailed reports.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management, education administration, or related fields within higher education settings.
  • Strong budgeting skills with the ability to monitor expenses and optimize resource use effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing teams or large groups of students or staff.
  • Excellent written communication skills for grant proposals, reports, and promotional materials.
  • Background in curriculum development and working with students across diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with university policies, research methodologies, and academic advising practices is highly desirable.
  • Prior recruiting experience and administrative expertise in managing multiple stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
