SUMMER2717 SUMMER MECHANICS - 4 NEEDED

Must have High School Diploma or GED Certificate

Must pass state mandated mechanics test

Successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge of computer diagnostics for diesel engine used in Raleigh County current model school buses in a reasonable timeframe

Must provide personal mechanics grade hand tools including wrenches, sockets, and tool storage - required lists available upon request

Prior school bus repair experience

Must pass DOT physical

Must have interpersonal skills needed to work with bus operators, other mechanics and administrative staff

Completes tasks effectively and efficiently

Possesses good communication skills

Keeps abreast of new techniques and ideas in the school bus maintenance industry

Holds a valid WV operator's license and be eligible for Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements

Must hold or can obtain a WV Bus Operator Certification and be willing to work as a Substitute Bus Operator as needed

Ability to read and interpret written schematics

Ability to clearly write work orders and explain actions taken
