Superintendent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee complex renovation projects, including commercial remodels and high-end residential work. The ideal candidate has both technical training in commercial construction and hands-on experience in remodeling older buildings. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and self-performing crews, while maintaining top-quality job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Lead day-to-day construction activities for commercial and residential renovation projects.
• Scheduling & Sequencing: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring smooth sequencing of trades and timely completion.
• Workforce Management: Manage subcontractors and self-performing labor crews effectively, driving safety, quality, and accountability.
• Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and finishes, with a keen eye for detail.
• Jobsite Leadership: Foster a professional, efficient, and safe work environment with pride in jobsite cleanliness and organization.
• Problem Solving: Anticipate and resolve field challenges, particularly those associated with remodeling older or occupied buildings.
• Client Interaction: Serve as a professional representative of the company on site, maintaining clear communication with clients, architects, and project managers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a supervisory role in commercial and/or residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and project sequencing.
• Hands-on experience with remodeling, adaptive reuse, and working within older buildings.
• Proven ability to manage both subcontractors and self-performing crews.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate teams.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• OSHA certification and a strong commitment to jobsite safety preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
