PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT Summary Job Description
The Project Superintendent position will manage and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, and trade contractor and supplier coordination for a Commercial General Contractor. The position will work with the Senior Superintendent, Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager, leading the project team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
ALL aspects of creating and maintaining a safe job site.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
WORK SKILLS: Well-developed interpersonal skills. A self-starting, highly motivated, and goal-oriented individual. Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality.
EXPERIENCE: 10+ Years
QUALIFICATIONS: A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and institutional buildings and site work related thereto. The ability to effectively communicate in both written and spoken English. Proficiency with spreadsheets, Email, and other software used in the construction industry
EDUCATION: 4-year college degree preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand for long periods, Ability to sit for long periods, must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to work required over time to accomplish the desired team objectives & goals
