Supervisor - Aluminum & Glass Works

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee on-site installation of aluminum and glass works, including windows, doors, curtain walls, façades, and partitions. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing installation teams, ensuring work is completed according to drawings, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management

• Supervise daily site activities for aluminum and glass installation works
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and factory teams
• Assign tasks to installers and monitor productivity
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available on site

Technical & Quality Control

• Review and understand shop drawings and installation details
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings and specifications
• Check alignment, leveling, sealing, and finishing of aluminum and glass works
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site
• Conduct inspections and prepare snag lists

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce site safety rules and ensure use of PPE
• Ensure safe handling and installation of glass materials
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Report and prevent unsafe work practices

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and other trades
• Report daily progress to project management
• Monitor manpower, materials, and site progress
• Assist with site measurements and final handover

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in aluminum and glass works
• Strong knowledge of aluminum systems (windows, doors, curtain walls, façades)
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and site layouts
• Experience managing installation teams
• Knowledge of site safety procedures and regulations
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Ability to solve site problems efficiently
• Diploma or technical qualification in construction or related field (preferred)

Working Conditions

• Construction site environment
• May require long hours, overtime, or weekend work
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience with high-rise or large-scale façade projects
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures
• Basic computer skills for reporting (Excel, email, drawings)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
