Smart Motor Auto Repair is a premier, state-of-the-art automotive service center located in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi. Known for world-class standards, we specialize in high-end luxury, sports, and European vehicles, offering a full range of services from mechanical repairs to premium bodywork, professional auto painting, ceramic coating, and PPF installation. We are looking for a skilled, organized, and energetic Auto Painting Section Supervisor to lead our paint team and maintain our high standards of excellence.

Job Summary:

As the Auto Painting Section Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our workshop's paint booth and preparation areas. You will be responsible for managing a team of auto painters and preppers, ensuring quality control, keeping track of materials, and managing deadlines to ensure vehicles are delivered to our high-end clientele perfectly finished and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and schedule daily tasks for auto painters, sanders, and preppers.
• Quality Control: Inspect all vehicles at various stages of the painting process (preparation, masking, priming, painting, and polishing) to ensure flawless factory-quality finishing.
• Workflow Management: Coordinate closely with the workshop supervisor and body shop team to ensure smooth workflow and meet vehicle delivery deadlines.
• Color Matching & Technical Guidance: Assist technicians with complex color matching, mixing formulas, and specialized paint finishes (metallic, matte, pearl coat, etc.).
• Inventory & Material Control: Monitor the usage of paints, clear coats, primers, and consumables to minimize waste and ensure the team always has necessary supplies.
• Safety & Maintenance: Ensure the paint booths, mixing rooms, and equipment are cleanly maintained and that the team strictly follows safety protocols (wearing masks, proper ventilation, etc.).
• Coordinate and report to HR Department for the employee relations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of solid experience in automotive painting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader role within a professional body shop/workshop.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of modern automotive paint systems (water-based and solvent-based), body fillers, primers, mixing ratios, and spray gun operations.
• Language: Good communication skills in English. Ability to communicate with multicultural teams (knowledge of Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is a strong advantage).
• Leadership Skills: Proven capability to handle team pressure, manage workshop deadlines, and troubleshoot paint defects on the spot.
• Attention to Detail: High standards for color matching and a passion for luxury car detailing and finish quality.

• Base Salary: AED 3,000 to AED 4,000 per month (negotiable based on technical and leadership expertise).

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

• Mussafah, Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
