About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor Barista with a background in 5-star hotels or luxury hospitality environments, specializing in healthy food and wellness beverages. This role requires strong leadership, hygiene compliance, and the ability to manage an elite, high-expectation clientele in a premium wellness café setting.
The ideal candidate will bring together exceptional service standards, deep product knowledge, and supervisory expertise, ensuring a seamless and refined guest experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Supervision
- Supervise daily café operations in a luxury wellness environment
- Lead, train, and manage baristas and café staff to 5-star service standards
- Act as PIC (Person-in-Charge) for food safety, hygiene, and sanitization
- Ensure SOPs, hygiene audits, and compliance requirements are consistently met
Food & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and oversee preparation of:
- Healthy smoothies, juices, and functional wellness drinks
- Caffeine-free beverages and herbal infusions
- Fresh salads and light healthy food items
- Maintain premium standards of taste, presentation, and consistency
- Support menu development and curated wellness offerings
Health, Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Oversee sanitization, equipment hygiene, and ingredient handling
- Maintain hygiene logs and audit readiness
- Ensure strict food allergy awareness and allergen-safe practices
Elite Customer & Team Management
- Deliver a refined, personalized service experience to an elite and high-net-worth customer base
- Confidently manage VIP guests, special requests, and service recovery
- Train team members on luxury hospitality etiquette and wellness product knowledge
- Handle customer feedback with discretion and professionalism
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supervisor Barista / Senior Barista in:
- 5-star hotels, luxury cafés, or premium hospitality brands
- Strong background in healthy food & wellness beverage preparation
- Experience managing elite, high-expectation customers
- Knowledge of:
- Functional beverages, healthy menus, and clean eating concepts
- Food allergies and dietary restrictions
- Mandatory certifications:
- Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
- Sanitization / Hygiene PIC Certificate (Supervisor Level)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills
