Supervisor – Cold Room & Refrigeration

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor – Cold Room & Refrigeration to join our Facility Management team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in refrigeration systems, cold room maintenance, and team supervision, with prior experience in hotels, airports, or large facility management environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of cold rooms, refrigeration units, chillers, and related equipment.
• Lead and coordinate a team of refrigeration technicians to ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot refrigeration issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and company procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections of refrigeration equipment and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.
• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and inventory of spare parts.
• Support energy-efficiency initiatives and optimize equipment performance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in cold room and refrigeration maintenance.
• Previous experience in hotel facilities, airport facilities, or facility management companies is required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating daily operations.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and system schematics.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Valid Oman/GCC driving license is required.
• GCC experience, preferably in Oman, is an advantage.

Pay: Up to RO320.000 per month
