SUPERVISOR
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager
Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly, Full-Time
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for overall store operations and overseeing all employees on duty during the absence of the store manager or assistant manager and to uphold the Gold Standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Direct and coach store employees.
  • Helping customers locate merchandise and inform them of any product knowledge.
  • Provides outstanding service and sales skills to all customers along with greeting each customer.
  • Verifying proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise.
  • Operate handheld Telxon and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Remove damaged merchandise from floor as needed.
  • Follow company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures.
  • Attend store and job-related meetings along with completion of required Outfitter trainings.
  • Follow all applicable Company, local, state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure that your work area is clean and has sufficient supplies to complete assigned duties.
  • Learn register functions and sales transactions.
  • Authorize returns with no receipt, check approval and store charges.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Weightlifting capability up to and includes 50 lbs.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be required as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes special projects directed by management and additional responsibilities may be assigned throughout the store at any given time.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum Age requirement is 18 years old.
  • Must have at least 6 months of retail experience, leadership and customer service skills.
  • Required to complete Tow Motor Certification.
