Supervisor -HSE

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor fire safety systems including alarms, hydrants, sprinklers, and extinguishers.
• Conduct regular fire risk assessments and safety inspections across all mill departments.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, NFPA, and local safety regulations.
• Lead the Fire Response Team and act as first responder during emergencies.
• Conduct fire drills, mock evacuations, and employee safety trainings.
• Maintain updated records of fire incidents, inspections, and maintenance.
• Supervise the fire crew and coordinate with HSE, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
• Report any safety gaps or high-risk conditions promptly to management.

Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of industrial HSE and fire safety standards (NFPA / Local Fire Codes).
• Experience in emergency response and safety supervision within a textile or manufacturing setup.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stay calm, lead, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum: Matric with relevant certification in HSE or Fire Safety.
• Minimum 3 years in firefighting or HSE operations, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
