Supervisor Maintenance

Based at our Kingsland, GA facility, this role is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, managing the maintenance team, and ensuring plant equipment and machinery operate efficiently. Responsibilities include planning and implementing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating with other departments, and supporting operational needs. From time to time, knowledge of Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) systems may be required, along with flexibility to assist with other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure effective and efficient work.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs to keep plant equipment and machinery operating efficiently.
• Schedule regular maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to reduce production disruptions, working with managers to schedule downtime effectively.
• Utilize thorough knowledge of plant equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose issues and ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including equipment and machinery repairs, preventive maintenance schedules, and associated costs.
• Support I&E troubleshooting and repairs as needed, ensuring safe and efficient completion.
• Perform other duties as required to support plant operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma plus specialized training or 1 year of college in Mechanical, Engineering Technology, or a related field required.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• 5–7 years of maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with strong attention to detail.
• Solid technical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude.
