Supervisor, Operations Services (CNG)

JOB PURPOSE:

To plan and ensure safe and efficient Operation of facilities in the CNG & Hydrogen filling stations as per

standards and Manufactures recommendations. Optimum utilization of available resources – manpower and

materials. Efficient utilization of CNG Trailer for supply of CNG to daughter stations from CNG mother

stations.

CNG Operations

• Manages the daily CNG Trailers filling at mother stations and safety & timely transported to daughter
  
  

stations to avoid any dry outs.

• Ensures all safety precautions are taken and Work permits are issued before commencement of the
  
  

work and the instructions are strictly followed during all stages of the work at any CNG station

equipment.

• Carry out regular stations visit to inspect the facility at the CNG & Hydrogen stations to ensure
  
  

operations are carried out in a safe manner and as per Standards and recommendations.

• Conducts site training periodically to all CNG & Hydrogen filling stations fillers and Operators to make
  
  

sure that they are familiar with the CNG & Hydrogen facilities.

• Maintains safe operation of CNG & Hydrogen facility and record all CNG filling and dispatch data and
  
  

prepare dispatch schedule of filled trailers accordingly.

• Initiates corrective action with respect to operation Control Services, where necessary or as per
  
  

company policy.

• Performs any other related duties as assigned by CNG Operations Engineer as and when required.
  
  

Stays standby on call 24 hours a day for any emergency calls.

• Ensures that all the jobs are carried out as per Standards and recommendations in a safe manner and
  
  

laid down work instructions.

• Ensures that the documents in his custody are maintained and updated as per Document Control
  
  

Procedures.

• Carries out his duties in accordance with specifications and company policies and regulations.
• Participates in the Commissioning of new CNG & Hydrogen Stations as per approved procedures.
  
  

Maintenance Management

• Plans, organizes and supervises Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for all NG activities including
  
  

compressors, dispensers and Trailer & Head to ensure quality, compliance with applicable Health,

Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at all times.

HSSE and Training Management

• Ensures that all staff is trained on safety regulations, procedures and measures and is familiar with
  
  

emergency procedures.

• Responsible for coordinating with HSE, instructing and training of Operators, Trailer drivers, Labourers
  
  

& ensuring that job is carried out in the safest way with the least risk possible.

• Coordinates with regarding to Quality Assurance matters and maintains all documents according to ISO
  
  

policies and procedures.

• Organizes storage of scrap products (damaged/off specification/over aged materials) in quarantine area
  
  

and ensures that no issues are made from this area.

Reporting and Performance Management

• Prepares monthly and weekly reports as required and monitor CNG & Hydrogen facilities performance.
  
  

Minimum Qualification

• Technical Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or other related discipline
  
  

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• 5-6 years of experience as Supervisor in managing CNG/NG operations.
