Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Supervises and facilitates the work of the Patient Relations Representatives.
  2. Schedules and evaluates Staff’s performance.
  3. Coordinates the daily work activities of the Patient Relations Representatives
  4. Changes work assignments to meet changing requirements and conditions.
  5. Conducts weekly rounds on patients’ units and ensures staff coverage and performance are adequate.
  6. Coordinates and assists in new employees’ orientation.
  7. Reviews staff’s daily work and takes necessary actions to ensure optimum service level.
  8. Prepares reports and maintains records of staff productivity and areas of concern.
  9. Provides input in the Department Head regarding performance of Patient Relations Representatives.
  10. Receives patients and responds to their inquiries and complaints and liaises with concerned departments to achieve satisfactory solutions.
  11. Acts to educate staff and physicians concerning patients’ needs and expectations.
  12. Keeps record of all complaints and related correspondence, prepares official response for management review and finalization.
  13. Collects and administers patient satisfaction data. Utilizes feedback to facilitate system improvements to better meet patients’ needs.
  14. Provides patients/significant others with feedback on issues of concern
  15. Participates in emphasizing and implementation of hospital approved standards and governmental laws pertaining to patients’ rights and issues
  16. Follows all Hospital related Policies and Procedures.
  17. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.
  18. Performs other related duties as assigned.


Job Requirements


Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or other related disciplines is required.

Experience Required: Three (3) years of rated experience with Master’s, or five (5) years with Bachelor’s is required.

Other Requirements: Saudi Nationals only.
