Job Description
This position is responsible for performing all applicable duties including but not limited to day-to-day supervision, assigned investigations and report documentation.
Essential Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures

Prepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner
-
Reviews all incident reports for accuracy submitted by Security Officers
-
Directs and delegates responsibilities to the Security Officers
-
Communicates all policy changes, memorandums, and special events on a daily basis
-
Communicates with guests and other employees in a positive manner, both in oral and written forms
-
Evaluates his/her subordinate’s performance
-
Coordinates emergency situations
Qualifications
-
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required, some college preferred
-
One (1) - three (3) years Security Officer experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
-
Previous casino security or security supervisor experience preferred.

Excellent communication and time management skills
-
Must be able to communicate with guests and other employees in a positive manner
-
Must have ability to use good judgment in intense situations
-
Must be able to interface effectively with property management staff, Seminole Police, and other law enforcement officials
-
Must be able to promote an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality at all times
-
Must provide adequate protection for the safety and assets of patrons, employees, and the company
-
Must be able to wear a radio earphone without any medical limitations
-
Must be computer literate
-
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word is preferred
-
Must have valid Motor Vehicle License with good driving record
Work Environment

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the back of house of the casino, which can be fast-paced with excessive noise. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
