The Supervisor, Supply Strategic Support (Strategic Planning) will support the entire Supply team and Mobis leadership with clear strategic direction and decision making on systems and processes to ensure parts availability to support OE service parts requirements. This person will make recommendations on process and systems settings or systems improvements to ensure attainment of Key Performance Indicators (Fill Rate, Back Order lines, and Inventory Months of Supply).
This person will lead a small team that includes super user roles that will be responsible for global system settings and parameters that drive demand forecasts, supply replenishment and all inbound scheduling. This person will also be responsible for leading the team to develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), team performance monitoring, training, executive level communication/reporting, and supporting ad-hoc requests/ special projects.
Systems, data integrity, and process effectiveness are extremely important. This role is responsible for making recommendations in these areas that have a direct impact on cash (inventory investment), expenses (freight, warehousing), income (parts sales), PDC productivity and customer service (Fill Rate, Back Order lines)
2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY

1st Responsible for the strategic development and tactical execution of the MPA procurement plan. Lead the team in developing, analyzing, and maintaining the strategic, demand, and procurement plan using sales and supplier metrics in support of strategic business objective 30%
2nd Responsible for the monthly demand planning process which includes building forecasts, making recommendations, and incorporating historical and market intelligence data into the current forecast 30%

Utilize relationship-building expertise to oversee carriers and PDC staff to ensure a consistent flow of material from holding facilities into the PDC. The flow of material must be aligned and meet corporate KPIs (i.e customer service levels, cost reduction initiatives, and throughput) 30%
4th Develop, review, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with Supply Team leadership on auditing adherence to SOP’s. 5%
5th Generate KPI reports to ensure effective communication of performance against objectives for internal customers, external customers, and executive management 5%
