Supplier Quality Engineer

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Supplier Selection & Onboarding:Develop and maintain processes for evaluating and selecting new suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards from the outset.
• Quality Assurance & Audits:Implement and monitor quality assurance processes, conducting regular audits and assessments of supplier facilities, processes, and products to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement:Address supplier-related quality issues by leading root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and driving continuous improvement projects to enhance supplier performance.
• Performance Monitoring:Track and report on supplier quality performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
• Liaison & Collaboration:Serve as the primary technical point of contact between suppliers and internal departments (e.g., procurement, engineering, production), facilitating communication and alignment on quality expectations.
• Compliance:Ensure that suppliers and their products adhere to all relevant government regulations, industry standards (such as ISO 9001), and company-specific requirements.
• Quality Management Systems:Maintain the overall supplier quality management system, including documentation, records of performance, and databases of supplier information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
