Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role
The Supplier Quality Engineer concentrates on all aspects of supplier management, supplier process & material changes. This role provides technical support for product manufacturing lines. The Supplier Engineering Team is responsible for the pending Component Qualifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Execution of component qualifications for product manufacturing lines.
• Foster open and transparent communication with suppliers to ensure mutual understanding of expectations and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Regulatory to align supplier/component performance with company goals.
• Participates in large-scale projects or leads smaller-scale projects under guidance from senior engineering staff.
• Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or a total project of moderate scope.
• Interfaces with suppliers with support cross-functional team members to support the investigation of supplied material issues or supply constraints.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably biomedical.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Supplier Engineer or similar.
• Proficiency in statistical tools, such as Minitab.
• Proficiency in report writing skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in a regulated environment per ISO13485 and FDA guidelines.
