Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This position involves working closely with various departments to implement quality assurance processes, conduct inspections, and analyze data to drive continuous improvement. Customer contact as well as monitoring closely on internal manufacturing/assembly processes. Guiding and controlling internal quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Conduct thorough inspections of products and processes to ensure adherence to ours and ISO 9001 standards.
• Analyze data from quality inspections and testing to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Hands-On Identifying product issues and provide possible solutions to fix.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate and update customers.
• Implementation of supplier audits, supplier monitoring and supplier evaluations Assist in the development of training programs related to quality management systems and best practices.
• Preparing and maintaining „Buy America“ project documentation.
• Participate in internal audits and support external audits by regulatory agencies or clients.
• Lead the RMA process and maintain good records
• Monitor and improve process in manufacturing/assembly department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a quality engineering role, preferably within a regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC methodologies and quality management systems (QMS).
• Good MS-Office Skills.
• ISO 9001 experience is a must and Buy America is a Plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments.
• Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and tools.
• 10-25% Travel Required

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
