Duties and responsibilities

• Assess and qualify potential suppliers based on quality, capability, and reliability criteria.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality control plans and inspection processes.
• Identify and address non-conforming materials, components, or services from suppliers.
• Work closely with suppliers to improve their manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Conduct regular supplier meetings to review performance, address issues, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier audits, assessments, and performance data.
• Provide regular reports to management on supplier performance, quality trends, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Production Engineering.
• 1-3 Years experience in supplier quality management and vendor development within a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, quality control methodologies, and manufacturing standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
