• Supplier Quality Liaison Position - Job Description Key Points
• Contractor Position - 10 hours per week contract position

· Ability and willingness to work the first shift, on-location at one of the Assembly Plants in the position of Supplier Quality Liaison and be available on all shifts if needed to address any component quality concerns or support Supplier Client requests..

· Professional responsibility for client automotive components at the customer manufacturing locations

· Attend all customer meetings to comply to customer requirements for client communications

· Attend all customer meetings to review internal and eternal identified quality issues that may affect client components

· On-site availability to monitor all manufacturing processes and relationships to responsible client components

· On-site availability to work with customer Incoming Quality Managers, Auditors and Certification personnel

· Daily or weekly reporting to company and supplier client teams for identified quality or warranty related concerns

· Work directly with customer teams on identified quality issues

· Work directly with customer assembly line personnel and supervision to address identified quality issues

· Establish certification processes to address and contain identified suspect components in the event of an identified quality issue

· Communicate actions, clean points and supporting documents to customer teams and complete negotiations to close identified quality issues

· Facilitate, organize and complete client component trials at customer location

• Supplier Quality Liaison Skills and Expertise
• · Associate degree in related field or related business field preferred, and/or

· Work experience in automotive manufacturing environment or related field with documented experience preferred

· Proficiency in all current computer data analysis and data presentation programs

· Proficiency in measurement instrument understandings and functionality

· Ability to produce, collect, understand and present data derived from component investigation and measurement studies

· Ability to respect rules, regulations and authority of all customer and client teams

· Ability to dress, act and speak professionally to uphold the professional standing of our clients and our company

· Desire to be part of a well-respected, well-educated team and understand the importance of upholding the integrity of the entire team through respectful action and attitude.

• Ability to run electronic test equipment to diagnose and update electronic and audio components.

Job Type: Part-time / Independent Contractor position

Salary: $23 - $27 per hour
