About The Role
The Supply Chain Analyst provides daily visibility into purchasing, inventory, and unit and landed costs, ensuring accurate, explainable data across regions. Acting as the link between Operations and Finance, this role drives cost accuracy, variance tracking, and reporting to support business decisions; without handling accounting entries.
What You Will Do
-
Maintain accurate, region-wide purchasing records across POs, receipts, supplier invoices, inbound freight, and duties; track supplier pricing, MOQs, lead times, and variances; and ensure 3-way match prior to payment in coordination with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance.
-
Own daily inventory visibility across SKUs, locations, and regions, including on-hand and in-transit inventory; publish inventory health insights (stockout risk, overstock exposure, aging) and support cycle count variance investigation to ensure accurate valuation and margins.
-
Calculate and maintain daily unit cost to produce and BOM-based materials, packaging, and component cost rollups; reflect supplier, yield, and process changes promptly; and clearly explain unit cost drivers.
-
Calculate landed, inbound, and outbound logistics costs by SKU and shipment; build and maintain allocation logic; track planned versus actual freight costs; and identify cost leakage and improvement opportunities.
-
Ensure cost accuracy and explainability by reconciling standard versus actual costs, partnering with Finance on COGS and inventory valuation inputs, delivering regular cost and inventory reporting, and maintaining clean, audit-ready data and documentation in Triple Whale.
Who You Are
-
2–5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, cost accounting, or operations finance
-
Strong Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
-
Experience working with purchasing, inventory, and logistics data
-
Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with Operations and Finance
-
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to clearly explain financial and operational data
