JOB PURPOSE


To support the effective execution of supply chain and business support strategies by conducting detailed analyses, ensuring compliance, reviewing contracts, and monitoring performance metrics


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

1 Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions and ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department systems, processes and practices, taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

• Promote the implementation and adherence to relevant policies, processes and operating procedures to others

FUNCTION ACCOUNTABILITY

1 Draft, update, and maintain supply chain and business support policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with sector objectives.

2 Support the implementation of initiatives across Procurement, Local Content, and Research to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

3 Conduct analyses on sourcing, contracting, and purchasing activities to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.

4 Prepare and review contract specifications, terms, and conditions to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

5 Monitor compliance with approved frameworks, reporting deviations and recommending corrective actions.

6 Contribute to the development and tracking of KPIs, benchmarks, and scorecards to measure sector performance and highlight improvement areas.

7 Provide analytical and procedural support to build the function capabilities.

8 Identify risks and unfavorable events, analyze root causes, and recommend mitigation or control measures.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
