Supply Chain Business & Systems Analyst

Job Description Overview

We are seeking a Supply Chain Business & Systems Analyst who understands supply chain processes, data structures, and ERP environments, without being a technical BI developer. This role focuses on translating business needs into structured requirements, supporting customers as a Subject Matter Expert, and bridging the gap between business and technical teams. Strong professional communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Process Analysis

· Analyze supply chain processes (planning, forecasting, procurement, operations)

· Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities

· Quickly understand differences between business needs and system capabilities

· Translate operational requirements into clear functional documentation

2. KPI & Data Understanding

· Define and maintain KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders

· Understand data flows and reporting logic

· Work closely with technical teams to explain business logic behind dashboards

· Validate reports and ensure they align with business objectives

· Use Excel effectively for analysis and validation

3. Forecasting & Performance Support

· Support forecasting processes and demand planning discussions

· Interpret data outputs and explain implications to stakeholders

· Monitor supply chain performance indicators

4. ERP & Systems Support

· Understand ERP configurations and their impact on supply chain processes

· Participate in system improvement initiatives

· Support functional testing and validation

· Align business expectations with system possibilities

5. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

· Support customer and sales meetings as a Supply Chain SME

· Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders

· Present insights, requirements, and recommendations clearly

· Coordinate between business, technical, and commercial teams

· Manage multiple priorities simultaneously

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

· Use AI tools to improve efficiency and analysis

· Proactively suggest process and system improvements

· Adapt quickly in dynamic project environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Strong knowledge of supply chain and warehouse processes

· Experience in business analysis and requirement documentation

· Understanding of how BI tools (e.g., Power BI) work

· Solid Excel skills

· Experience with ERP systems and configuration logic

· Strong forecasting and performance management understanding

· Ability to identify and explain business–technical gaps quickly

· Professional communication skills in English (spoken and written)

· Structured, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

· Flexible, proactive, and fast learner

· Comfortable supporting commercial discussions as a Subject Matter Expert

· Ability to create reports in Power BI is a plus!
