TempExperts is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Buyer to join a leading manufacturing organization in Lynwood, CA. This Direct Hire role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and communication skills who excels in managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory, and executing MRP to ensure timely delivery and efficient operations within a cGMP-regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Execute MRP and manage inventory control for external items and components to meet service goals with minimal working capital.
- Place, expedite, defer, and cancel purchase orders in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain and adjust safety stock parameters under governance guidelines.
- Manage supplier relationships — including forecasts, priorities, order tracking, and resolution of quality or delivery issues.
- Collaborate with Sourcing, Production, and Quality teams to ensure purchased components meet required specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels, coverage, and lifecycle stages to proactively prevent excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.
- Develop and maintain reports for management to assess supply chain performance.
- Maintain data accuracy and compliance through coordination with Master Data and Supply teams.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile invoices and accounts payable.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of related industry experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of supply chain management concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis required.
- Experience working in a regulated or cGMP environment strongly preferred.
