Primary Role:

The Supply Chain Buyer/Planner at Myonex is a critical role supporting Horsham production and warehouse distribution operations. The candidate will be responsible for supply of materials to support production, demand and supply planning and detail scheduling of the production facility, to meet client and internal business requirements. The Buyer/Planner is responsible for the procurement of materials to support manufacturing processes, managing inventory levels, collaborating with suppliers, mitigating risk and exposure. This role requires strong decision-making, analytical, and negotiation skills to ensure material availability.

This role will plan production, schedule manufacturing orders, and coordinate the flow of work and materials. This role influences management and department decisions and will lead long-term planning processes. The responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, closely monitoring the production processes and regularly providing production status updates to functional management.

This is an onsite position with working hours of Monday - Friday at 8AM - 4:30PM EST in Horsham, PA.

Duties:

  • Coordinate with client facing personnel to define material requirements for each production order.
  • Manage ERP item master configurations for all new items.
  • Purchase materials to support production.
  • Provide oversight and monitor delivery timelines and inventory levels.
  • Liase with suppliers as needed to mitigate supply risks.
  • Create partnership with the Project Management and Operations departments at Myonex.
  • Build & optimize the detail production schedule, coordinating facility, equipment, labor and client requirements.
  • Issue production work orders in ERP.
  • Facilities planning, supply and forecasting review meetings, providing input and insight to capacity or supply constraints and risks.
  • Demand planning & forecasting for both production and warehouse distribution operations.
  • Capacity modeling for bottleneck resources.
  • Adapt to the ever-changing industry regulations and think creatively to provide customer solutions.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field, preferably with a focus in supply chain management.
  • 5 years in a procurement or supply chain planning role.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP (Oracle) and production planning tools
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, Databases)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment where no project or day is the same
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple priorities
