Job Type: Full-time, in-person/on-site, Monday through Friday, Day Shift
Salary: $18 - $20/hr. depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing the purchasing process for raw material and inventory for the organization. Prepares monthly reports on forecasting for General Manager. Communicate with suppliers on purchase orders, pricing, shipment options and required documents. Communicate with corresponding internal departments.

Duties:

  • Exports inventory and sales data into monthly forecasting spreadsheet.
  • Prepares and issues purchase orders, determines prices and delivery terms; buys according to established company policies and procedures; maintains accurate purchasing records.
  • Maintains rapport and good working relationship with suppliers; requests required documents and shipping/tracking information from suppliers.
  • Inputs documentation into the proper shared files with assigned lot number; records information from supplier into spreadsheet
  • Receives raw material/inventory items into the system; creates lot numbers and labels; releases manufacture orders for bulk items.
  • Performs other purchasing or inventory control duties as necessary or as requested.
  • Complete other projects assigned by the General Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Critical thinking: Ability to solve problems, make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • College diploma or relevant work experience preferred
  • Excellent math skills required.
  • Superior Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with members of other departments.
  • Experience with MRP systems a must.
  • Ability to take direction well and follow procedures in a dynamic work environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail while being able to multi-task
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Positive attitude to continue learning

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

  • Excel/Google Sheets: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Inventory control: 2 years (Preferred)
