Data Analyst

Position Summary

The role of the Data Analyst is to oversee, organize, and implement all Supply Chain improvements for the company. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to support strategic decision-making in areas such as inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement, and logistics.

Essential Functions

· Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources within the produce supply chain, distributors, retailers, and consumer feedback channels.

· Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction across labor, freight, packaging, transportation, and distribution networks.

· Prepare and analyze daily operational performance reports across multiple facilities.

· Monitor and evaluate quality assurance metrics and operational KPIs.

· Develop dashboards and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

· Conduct cost analysis for labor, freight, and packaging to inform budget and P&L decisions.

· Provide market intelligence by researching trends, competitor performance, and customer feedback.

· Collaborate with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to implement data-driven process improvements.

· Support P&L analysis, variance reporting, and forecasting activities.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
  • Strong cost analysis skills with emphasis on labor, freight, and packaging.
  • Advanced Excel modeling and dashboard creation.
  • Data visualization with Power BI or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Understanding of operational workflows and KPIs in value-added produce operations.
  • Financial literacy and cost accounting principles.
  • Ability to translate data insights into business actions.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Time management and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to identify key business drivers and communicate data insights effectively.
  • Understanding of cost accounting and financial principles related to P&L management.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred; or four (4) or more years of Logistics/Supply Chain Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
