The Lip Bar is a beauty brand that exists to challenge the beauty standard by reminding our customers that they are enough through diverse imagery, affordable pricing and easy-to-use products.


The Opportunity:

We are a small start-up looking for a dynamic team player who can evolve as the business grows. We have been scrappy to date, but we are in the midst of transitioning to tools and systems that will support us as we scale. This role will be a hybrid of scrappy creativity and establishing solid systems to set up structures that support our next phase of growth.


Role Details:

We are looking for a thoughtful Global Logistics Coordinator who will focus on supporting the day-to-day business of our operations team, with a specific focus on retail and supply planning for both TLB and Thread.

Logistics and planning consist of supporting workstreams and tasks related to inventory movement between our suppliers, warehouse, and retail customers. You will be a part of the operations team.


Role Responsibilities overview:

  • Identify and act on inventory discrepancies before, during, and after event
  • Act as main point of contact for the logistics and Supply Chain department on the organizations of such events
  • Act as a project manager on ad-hoc logistics topics around on time delivery, inventory accuracy, and team coordination
  • Put in place tools, processes to have full visibility on events coordination from the Logistics perspective
  • Serve as a partner to the operations team at large in the corporate office to ensure all activities are taking place (Distribution Center, Transportation & Retail preparation)
  • Preparing reports for Senior Management, when appropriate.

The priorities and specific responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Project Management

  • Oversee supply and product timelines for development and production
  • Communicate with suppliers and cross functional stakeholders as need to keep products and projects on track.

Logistics

  • Creating and updating SOPs for inbound and outbound shipments for our suppliers, retail, and 3PL parties.
  • Communication of upcoming promotional and forecast expectations to 3PL’s
  • Vendor relationships lead with our 3PL’s across channels.


Transportation:

  • Ensure 3PL’s are abreast of inbound and outbound shipment timing
  • Oversight of inventory rebalancing between and within 3PL’s and Flagship Store
  • Oversight of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure proper labeling, lot code tracking, and other pertinent information is captured

System:

  • Subject Matter Expert on Inventory Management System (Fishbowl) and associated integrations (Shopify, SPS, Amazon)
  • Real time system updates for receiving, transfer orders, and sales order to allow for Fishbowl to be the system of record for TLB and Thread
  • Establish system processes that allow for all user visibility for inventory at various points within the supply chain (on order, in transit, allocated, available)
  • Establish and iterate on weekly reporting for costs associated with freight forwarders, small parcel, air freight, and LTL service providers
  • Item Master Inputs (Dimensions, Master Carton, Pick Bin and location synchronization)
  • Process retail invoices and replenishment orders via Fishbowl

Reporting:

  • Understand and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Logistics i.e. Orders on Time, Order Processing Time, Defects per Order (Zero Defect Goal), Freight Cost
  • Cycle Counting and Full Physical Inventory Scheduling and Reporting on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Collaboration with Accounting/Finance to supply needed documentation ie Proof of Delivery, to address chargebacks across retailers


Ideal Skills we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field

• 2- 3+ years proven experience in Logistics and Project Management 

• Must have an eye for detail, superb organizational skills and coordination abilities

• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to problem solve strategically

• Must have a willingness to learn and have a positive team player attitude
