Supply Chain Analytics Manager

This position is for a Supply Chain Analytics Manager who can define business needs and use Analytics as an enabler to deliver outcomes that are linked to business value. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret data science into practical business applications. The candidate should be able to use analytics to optimize the next generation enterprise performance methods.
Responsibilities:

Convert desired outcomes into value-based business initiatives, linking them to specific analytics, and applying interpretation methods/ techniques to create value

Organize and analyze Big Data to create substantial shareholder value (e.g., enterprise architecture, data lake, next gen BI, data management, ETL)

Define analytics led performance management models spanning multi-functions with direct/ indirect causality, used to inform strategic and operational planning and decision making

Architect enterprise-wide data and analytics transformations pertaining to enterprise data management, reporting automation/ simplification, data science, next generation analytics technology/ platform etc.

Articulate the value proposition and business case for enterprise data and analytics solutions

Develop fluent understanding of advancements in technology and innovations happening across digital, analytics, enterprise ecosystem and broader marketplace

Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in- depth evaluation of variable factors

Manage teams of diverse backgrounds, skill sets and technical/functional knowledge

Encourage creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas and career plans to fruition

Implement and execute structured decision-making

Lead independently to determine the best possible methods and procedures to deliver Enterprise Data & Analytics assignments

Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate data findings to stakeholders, translating complex information into actionable insights
Qualifications:
-
Knowledge & understanding of data management & data warehouses such as Big Query, SQl server, GCP etc

Knowledge of ETL tools such as Alteryx
-
Working knowledge of Supply chain modeling and optimization software such as Optilogic, Llamasoft or JDA SCS
-
Project management, business, practice, and people development experience

Working knowledge of business intelligence reporting solutions (Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, etc.)

Working knowledge of enterprise data tools and technologies

Working knowledge of analytics techniques and technologies

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Excel

Strong interpersonal skills and emphasis on teamwork

Highly effective communication and problem-solving skills
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s in engineering or mathematics
-
MBA preferred
-
5+ years supply chain, engineering, or finance experience

Cross-functional project management experience

Analytics and modeling project management experience
