The Role

As Senior Director of Logistics, you will lead the strategic development and optimization of our global logistics network. This role focuses on enhancing last-mile delivery, routing efficiency, inbound logistics, compliance, cost control, and operational excellence. By leveraging data-driven decision-making and fostering innovation, you will elevate our logistics operations and collaborate across departments to achieve strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Routing & Network Optimization

• Lead global routing teams across six logistics centers
• Develop and execute growth strategies, including capacity planning
• Optimize network design to reduce costs while improving delivery speed and scalability
• Integrate technology solutions for enhanced operational visibility

Logistics Operations Planning

• Develop an existing team to manage transportation operations planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align transportation plans with business demands
• Drive the adoption of AI and transportation management systems (TMS)

Warehouse Operations Optimization

• Lead the Logistics Business Intelligence team to provide operational insights
• Establish and monitor KPIs for service quality and cost efficiency
• Implement improvements aligned with wholesale and DTC objectives
• Drive capacity planning and labor initiatives

Inbound Logistics & Cost Controls

• Develop our Inbound Logistics team to manage supplier networks effectively
• Enforce cost-control measures and optimize freight management processes
• Benchmark performance against industry standards
• Oversee logistics budget management aligned with corporate financial goals

Team Leadership

• Mentor and lead a high-performing logistics team
• Align team goals with organizational objectives
• Drive engagement and talent development through coaching

Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
• 10+ years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role at a $500M+ organization
• Experience in fashion/retail logistics preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in TMS, routing software, and logistics analytics tools
• Strong budget management experience with focus on cost savings
• In-depth knowledge of logistics compliance and risk management
