Summer 2026 Internship Program
Position Overview:
The Material Planning Summer Internship offers an exciting opportunity for students to gain practical, hands-on experience within the field of supply chain management. As an intern, you will work alongside professionals in our Supply Chain department to support day-to-day operations, enhance our processes, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. This internship is designed to provide exposure to key supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement and Sourcing:
- 
Assist with supplier research, sourcing, and maintaining vendor relationships.
- 
Support the procurement team in tracking purchase orders, managing supplier communications, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- 
Help analyze supplier performance data and contribute to supplier evaluations.
Inventory Management:
- 
Support the team in managing inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and conducting inventory audits.
- 
Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions and reconciling discrepancies.
- 
Contribute to inventory forecasting and assist with replenishment strategies.
Logistics and Distribution:
- 
Assist in coordinating transportation and distribution schedules for products.
- 
Help track and report on delivery timelines, shipping costs, and performance metrics.
- 
Support the optimization of shipping and logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Production Planning and Scheduling:
- 
Work closely with the production planning team to monitor production schedules and ensure alignment with supply chain needs.
- 
Assist with analyzing demand forecasts and managing production timelines to meet customer requirements.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- 
Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting on supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.
- 
Help identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across various supply chain functions.
- 
Support the creation of reports for internal teams and management.
Qualifications:
- 
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
- 
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
- 
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with supply chain management software is a plus.
- 
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- 
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
