POSITION SUMMARY
Our internships are designed to give a comprehensive understanding of the assigned department, as well as an overview of every department’s contribution to our business. The Supply Chain Intern will support daily operations and planning activities across the supply chain team. Key responsibilities include maintaining accessory data and sales opportunities in Salesforce, assisting with demand forecasting, and helping evaluate and automate replenishment processes. This position offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This internship will begin in the summer of 2026.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides general, entry-level support to the supply chain department.
- Assists in maintaining and updating accessory data, tracking sales opportunities, and ensuring accurate information flow between Sales and Supply Chain through Salesforce.
- Compiles historical data, analyzes demand trends, and helps develop short- and long-term forecasts to support inventory planning and purchasing decisions.
- Evaluates current replenishment processes, identifies automation opportunities, and supports the development and testing of improved transfer logic to optimize inventory movement.
- Supports long-range inventory strategy by collecting data, modeling future demand and supply assumptions, and assists in preparing presentations/reports.
- Assists in implementing 5S organizational improvements on the production floor: sorting, standardizing, and sustaining processes to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Helps maintain accurate barcoding standards, supports batch/lot tracking improvements, and collaborates with operations to ensure proper labeling and traceability.
- Tracks key logistics and warehouse performance indicators, supports dashboard updates, and provides insights on freight costs, carrier performance, service levels, and warehouse productivity.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Current college junior/senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain
- Must have at least a 2.8 GPA (3.0 or 3.2+ preferred)
- Must be involved in at least 1 extra-curricular activity or volunteer activity
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Smartsheet
- Ability to analyze data and decipher information
