Job Description: Supply Chain Lead
Role Overview:
As Supply Chain Lead, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end supply chain function across all product verticals. You will lead planning, sourcing, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution while ensuring operational efficiency and cross-functional alignment with product, marketing, and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy & Execution
- Lead the entire supply chain lifecycle from sourcing to delivery for product verticals
- Develop sourcing plans aligned with forecasted demand and GTM timelines
- Own capacity planning across OEMs/CMOs for timely product availability
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard strategic vendors across India and abroad.
- Travel extensively in India and abroad for procurement.
- Ensure quality, pricing, and lead time SLAs are met
- Maintain strong relationships with component suppliers, packaging vendors, and 3PL partners
Inventory & Fulfilment Operations
- Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and 3PLs using ERP (Zoho, Odoo)
- Minimize stockouts and overstock through accurate demand planning
- Coordinate inward logistics, warehousing, and last-mile fulfilment across online and offline channels
Manufacturing & Compliance Coordination
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers to ensure on-time production and dispatch
- Ensure regulatory and certification compliance:
- Medical Devices – CDSCO standards, batch tracking
- Electronics/Appliances – BIS, warranty systems
Reporting & Optimization
- Drive supply chain KPIs: OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), fill rate, inventory turnover, etc.
- Maintain and present weekly/monthly MIS reports
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive cost reductions
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain or operations, preferably in D2C, FMCG, Consumer electronics, Medical devices, E commerce.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Engineering
- Strong proficiency in Excel, inventory management systems, and ERP tools
- Experience working with contract manufacturing, demand forecasting, and 3PLs
