Supply Chain Lead

Key Responsibilities1. Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Forecast demand and manage supply planning to meet market requirements.
• Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Oversee sourcing, purchasing, and contract negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and services.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Maintain optimum inventory levels to balance cost and service levels.
• Oversee warehouse operations, storage planning, and stock accuracy.
• Implement inventory control systems to minimize shortages and excesses.

4. Logistics & Distribution

• Ensure smooth outbound logistics and timely delivery to customers.
• Optimize transportation modes, routing, and cost.
• Manage third–party logistics (3PL) partners and service providers.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with production, sales, finance, and operations teams.
• Ensure alignment on supply plans, budgets, and fulfillment timelines.

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track key metrics such as OTIF, inventory turns, lead times, and logistics cost.
• Prepare reports for management and recommend improvements.
• Implement digital tools and ERP systems for transparency and accuracy.

7. Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
• Foster a high-performance and continuous improvement culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory optimization, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and people management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
