Position Summary:
Titomic, a global leader in Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing utilizing Titomic Kinetic Fusion™ technology, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Lead with 3–5 years of experience in the defense and/or aerospace sectors to join our innovative team. This position is responsible for overseeing and optimizing end to end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships. This role ensures efficient flow of goods, reduced costs, and improved overall operational performance while supporting organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Operations

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify risk in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain functions including procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand and supply forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Monitor open orders, delivery schedules, and material flow to avoid shortages or production delays.
  • Oversee ERP/MRP planning accuracy, master data, and system improvements.

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for direct materials, consumables, and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and service level agreements with suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Monitor supplier KPIs related to delivery, quality, and cost performance.
  • Resolve supply chain interruptions, quality concerns, and compliance issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Logistics & Inventory Control

  • Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, freight carriers, customs compliance, and transportation efficiency.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and cycle counting processes.
  • Oversee demand planning, forecasting, and stock level optimization.
  • Implement continuous improvements to reduce handling time, optimize storage, and improve material flow.
  • Optimize logistics processes to reduce lead times and costs.

Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics for leadership review.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures, documentation, and work instructions are up to date.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Lead and mentor supply chain coordinators, buyers, and/or logistics staff.
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, QA, and finance to meet business objectives.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) with supply chain readiness and material planning.
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, and/or materials management.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, purchasing principles, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar).
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defense, and/or additive manufacturing.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certifications.
  • APICS/CPIM, CSCP, CIPS or similar supply chain certifications.
  • Experience working in ISO9001 and/or AS9100 environments.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOM structures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $59,170.86 per year
