Supply Chain Manager

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

As a Supplier Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our supply chain meets the high standards required for aerospace applications. Your responsibilities will include:

𝟭. 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet our quality and compliance standards.

𝟮. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:

Negotiate and formalize supplier agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), to protect company interests.

𝟯. 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

Assess supplier capabilities, certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100), and performance to ensure alignment with aerospace industry standards.

𝟰. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

Ensure suppliers match regulatory requirements and provide materials that meet space-grade specifications.

𝟱. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:

Regularly review supplier performance metrics, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.

𝟲. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and procurement teams to align supplier capabilities with project needs.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

● Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

● Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, or a related role, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.

● Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.

● Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to analyse supplier data and make informed decisions.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems

● Knowledge of space-grade materials and components.

● Experience with supplier audits and performance improvement initiatives.

● Understanding of regulatory requirements in the aerospace industry.
