Background

  • Works under general direction of the CEO/President in a c-GMP regulated manufacturing environment operating under Q7A standards.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies, optimizing logistics and distribution, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality goods and services to our customers.

Tasks

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that support business growth and objectives
  • Manage and optimize logistics and distribution operations to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency
  • Identify and implement supply chain best practices to drive continuous improvement and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to develop and execute effective supply chain plans
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to best practices
  • Manage and optimize supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery of goods and services
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
  • Develop and implement supply chain management systems and technology to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary by Management for the betterment of Jost operations


Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
  • Knowledge of:
  • Advanced levels mathematics and English comprehension
  • Advanced level of manufacturing capabilities and processes
  • Basic level of safety, health and environmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures
  • MS office software package
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning
  • Skill in:
    • Organization and documentation
    • Scheduling and forecasting processes
    • Interpersonal competencies such as relationship bulking, teamwork, conflict resolution and customer orientation
    • Strategic and original thinking, judgment and decision-making
    • negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement solutions
    • leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
    • supply chain management systems and technology, including inventory management software, transportation management systems, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
