We are expanding our operations in Turkey and looking for an experienced
SCM Manager
to oversee import, logistics, and overseas warehouse operations. This role requires strong hands-on execution ability combined with mature managerial experience in global companies.
About the Role
The SCM Manager (Logistics & Import Operations) will be responsible for managing inbound & outbound operations, coordinating with Chinese HQ and local Turkish logistics partners, ensuring smooth customs clearance, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory. This role requires strong experience in import operations, supply chain optimization, and cross-functional communication in a fast-paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all
import operations
, including customs clearance, documentation, shipment planning, and coordination with freight forwarders.

Oversee
warehouse inbound and outbound activities
, ensuring accuracy of goods receipt, FIFO picking, packaging, and dispatch.

Track logistics movements end-to-end and resolve issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.

Maintain full-cycle
inventory control
, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure consistency between ERP data and physical stock.

Operate
ERP/WMS systems
for inbound/outbound posting, inventory adjustments, and reporting.

Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for Turkish customs and tax authorities.

Collaborate closely with the
Chinese business team
and local partners to synchronize operational needs and resolve exceptions.

Ensure all operations comply with local regulations on warehousing, safety, and tax.

Support return logistics, damaged goods claims, and after-sales warehouse operations.

Drive continuous improvement across logistics efficiency, cost optimization, and supply chain accuracy.
Requirements (Must-Have)

Minimum 10 years of total professional experience
in supply chain, logistics, or import operations.

At least
3 years of experience in import & logistics management in a global company
, serving in a
department manager or similar leadership role
.

Strong knowledge of
Turkish customs rules, import processes, HS codes, and compliance
.

Solid hands-on experience with overseas warehouse operations, including picking, packing, FIFO, and exception handling.

Proficiency in
ERP/WMS systems
and strong capability in data accuracy & reporting.

Proven experience managing
3PL providers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
.

Excellent communication skills; ability to work effectively with
Chinese HQ
and local teams.

Turkish & English bilingual
; Chinese language is a plus.

Detail-oriented, structured, and able to manage high-volume, fast-paced operations.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive solutions
