The Supply Chain Executive/Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the company's supply chain and logistics strategy. This role is critical for maximizing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical and communication skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives. This includes demand forecasting, inventory planning, and logistics management.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs and waste. Implement and manage inventory control systems.
  • Procurement and Sourcing: Lead the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and delivery timelines.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Work with freight forwarders and transportation companies to optimize routes and rates.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and vendors. Conduct regular performance evaluations and work together to identify and resolve issues.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyze supply chain data and processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Implement solutions to enhance performance, reduce lead times, and improve overall productivity.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all supply chain operations comply with relevant regulations, including import/export laws and company policies. Identify and mitigate potential risks that could disrupt the supply chain.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production, sales, finance, and customer service, to ensure a seamless flow of information and goods.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, delivery times, and cost per unit.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a supply chain or logistics role, with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
