Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary (JS) The Supply Chain Manager oversees end-to-end product movement, including dispatch coordination, transporter management, route planning, delivery tracking, courier support, delay resolution, and logistics reporting. Ensures timely product delivery with maximum accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

A. Supply Chain Planning & Coordination • Create daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch plans. • Align product movement with stock levels. • Plan stock flow to warehouses, franchises, stock points.

B. Transporter & Courier Partner Management • Manage relationships with all transporters and couriers. • Ensure timely pickups and deliveries. • Negotiate competitive rates. • Resolve issues such as delayed pickup, routing errors, damages.

C. Dispatch Coordination

• Coordinate dispatch schedules with warehouse teams. • Ensure correct loading, labeling, and documentation. • Prevent dispatch delays and packing bottlenecks.

D. Delivery Monitoring & Issue Resolution

• Track deliveries: Delivered, In-transit, Pending, Delayed, RTO. • Escalate delays to courier partners. • Share updates with customer care and state teams.

E. Demand & Stock Movement Forecasting

• Predict movement needs based on region consumption. • Plan stock requirements with warehouse & procurement teams. • Prevent stock shortage caused by supply chain issues. F. Documentation & Compliance

• Manage e-way bills, LR/GR copies, dispatch registers. • Maintain SLAs with transport partners. • Ensure compliance with logistics legal requirements.

G. Inter-Department Coordination

• Coordinate with Warehouse, Customer Care, Procurement, Finance, and Regional Operations. • Maintain smooth operational communication.

H. Monitoring Control Room Support

• Provide shipping schedules to monitoring team. • Review daily logistics dashboards. • Resolve escalated delivery issues.

I. Reporting & MIS

• Daily dispatch reports. • Weekly delivery performance dashboards. • RTO and delay analysis. • Transporter performance evaluation. • Monthly supply chain performance scorecard.

Required Skills & Qualifications Skills:

• Strong logistics & supply chain expertise

• Vendor/transporter management

• Route planning, dispatch scheduling

• ERP/logistics software experience

• Strong reporting & analytical skills

• Crisis management ability

Qualifications:

• Graduate (MBA Operations preferred)
• 4–8 years of supply chain/logistics experience
• Experience in courier + transporter management

• Location: Kothariya, Rajkot, Gujarat (Preferred)

Schedule: Day shift

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
