Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain & Logistics Management
- Plan, manage, and optimize logistics operations for warehouses and retail outlets across multiple cities.
- Ensure timely movement of stock from suppliers to the central warehouse and from warehouse to retail stores.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners to ensure cost-effective and reliable deliveries.
Warehousing Operations
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and stock handling.
- Implement best practices for space utilization, safety, and inventory accuracy.
- Monitor slow-moving, fast-moving, and obsolete inventory and take corrective actions.
Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid overstocking or stock-outs at retail outlets.
- Develop and manage replenishment plans for all stores based on sales trends and demand forecasts.
- Ensure regular stock audits and reconciliations across warehouse and stores.
Retail Store Coordination
- Work closely with branch managers to understand sales patterns and stock requirements.
- Ensure all retail outlets receive the right product mix at the right time.
- Resolve supply chain–related issues affecting store operations and customer sales.
Process Improvement & Cost Control
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics and warehousing costs without impacting service levels.
- Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supply chain operations.
- Implement performance metrics (KPIs) for logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, logistics costs, stock turnover, and supply chain performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant regulations.
- Support management in strategic supply chain planning and expansion into new cities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations Management
- A master’s degree or professional certification or equivalent will be an advantage
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant supply chain experience
- Proven experience in retail supply chain, preferably electronics or home appliances
- Hands-on experience managing multi-city warehousing and retail distribution networks
- Strong background in retail, electronics, or FMCG distribution
