PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Supply Chain Planning Manager leads Americana Restaurants’ regional supply planning function, shaping mid-to-long-term supply strategies while ensuring efficient day-to-day order fulfillment in close collaboration with logistics teams.

The role is accountable for driving service level performance through a strong S&OP framework, continuously improving planning accuracy, data quality, and execution. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the role ensures product availability, timely campaign delivery, reduced waste and inefficiencies, optimized inventory levels, and effective working capital management. The scope includes ownership of regional planning, regional S&OP, and regional reporting to enable informed, data-driven decision-making.


KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Lead regional supply planning to ensure on-time, in-full product availability aligned with restaurant demand
  • Define and manage stock targets, reorder levels, and safety stock based on evolving business needs
  • Execute MRP in line with business planning cycles and timelines
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks in coordination with procurement teams
  • Oversee replenishment planning and ensure accuracy of planning data and outputs
  • Review inventory health and escalate risks, including supplier performance gaps, slow-moving stock, and near-expiry exposure
  • Deliver timely and accurate reports and dashboards with strong governance
  • Conduct ABC classification reviews for raw and packaging materials
  • Drive S&OP governance, including forecast alignment and cross-functional review meetings
  • Run supply simulations to assess shortage and overage risk scenarios beyond the S&OP cycle
  • Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, logistics, procurement, finance, IT, and central supply chain teams
  • Engage externally with suppliers, transporters, and third-party logistics providers to ensure continuity of supply
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing supply planning team
  • Set, monitor, and manage SLAs in line with divisional requirements
  • Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across supply planning


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7–10 years of experience in supply chain roles
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply planning function
  • At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or people-leadership role
  • Experience within F&B or QSR environments is preferred; candidates from related industries such as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing will also be considered


SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain standards (SCOR, APICS) and ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to influence and operate effectively within a matrixed, multi-brand environment
  • Strong change management mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • High levels of ownership, accountability, and execution focus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Customer-centric approach with a strong focus on service quality and operational excellence
