Job Purpose:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations within the printing industry. The role requires strong experience in procurement, inventory management, vendor coordination, production planning, and successful ERP implementation to ensure efficiency, cost control, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory, production planning, warehousing, and logistics.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business and production requirements of the printing industry.
- Ensure availability of raw materials (paper, ink, consumables) as per production schedules.
- Lead and support ERP implementation and optimization for supply chain, inventory, procurement, and production modules.
- Coordinate with ERP vendors, IT teams, and internal stakeholders for smooth system rollout and post-implementation support.
- Monitor inventory levels to minimize wastage, shortages, and excess stock.
- Develop and manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
- Analyze supply chain KPIs and prepare management reports for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards.
- Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- Master’s degree or professional certification (CSCP, CIPS, PMP) will be an advantage.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, preferably within the printing or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Odoo, or similar systems).
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory control, production planning, and logistics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
