Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer to support daily warehouse operations, logistics coordination, inventory control, and accounts documentation. The role focuses on ensuring smooth supply chain activities, accurate record-keeping, and timely movement of goods across the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Support daily warehouse operations and stock movement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock reports.
- Assist with periodic stock counts and report discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and adherence to basic safety standards.
Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and customers for deliveries.
- Prepare and track delivery schedules, shipment status, and logistics documents.
- Assist in arranging inbound/outbound shipments and maintain related records.
- Follow up with logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
Accounts & Documentation
- Prepare invoices, delivery notes, purchase orders, and GRNs.
- Coordinate with the accounts team regarding payment follow-ups and supplier reconciliation.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure accurate data entry in ERP/system.
Vendor & Internal Communication
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status and basic inquiries.
- Support procurement tasks such as collecting quotations and comparing prices.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain smooth workflow.
Reporting & Administrative Tasks
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly supply chain and inventory reports.
- Maintain documentation files, stock registers, and shipment logs.
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager with administrative and operational tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse coordination, or accounts.
- Basic understanding of inventory and logistics processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system knowledge is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with warehouse or logistics operations.
- Ability to multitask and work with multiple departments.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
