Procurement & Contract Management Officer / Supply Chain Officer

Job Description

The Supply Chain Officer is responsible for managing the procurement of food products to ensure the availability of high-quality materials at the best prices, while ensuring timely supply and effective contract management with suppliers in alignment with the company’s objectives.

The role also includes coordinating all supply chain activities within the company—from planning procurement needs for food materials to ensuring stable operational processes.

This vital role contributes to improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and strengthening strategic relationships with local and international suppliers, supporting production continuity and achieving the company’s commercial goals.

⚙️ Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute procurement and supply strategies aligned with the company’s operational objectives.
  • Analyze requirements for food products and coordinate with relevant departments to determine quantities and specifications.
  • Manage the full procurement cycle from requesting quotations to receiving materials.
  • Negotiate with local suppliers to secure the best prices, payment terms, and quality.
  • Prepare and follow up on supplier contracts, ensuring full compliance with the agreed terms.
  • Develop a supplier database and evaluate supplier performance regularly based on quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
  • Oversee the logistics supply chain to ensure uninterrupted and timely delivery of materials.
  • Manage inventory and warehouses in coordination with the production department, ensuring safe stock levels.
  • Analyze data and provide periodic reports on supply chain costs and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards across all procurement, transportation, and storage processes.
  • Improve procurement processes and procedures to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Supervise the supply and procurement team and develop their technical and managerial skills.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–8 years in Supply Chain & Procurement, with at least 4 years in the Food & Beverage sector .
